Yang style Tai Chi Chuan is an internal martial art. It’s smooth, slow, even circular movements show intent rather than force. Tai Chi is an entire body exercise that is continuously moving from one graceful movement to the next allowing chi or vital energy to flow unimpeded throughout the body.
Haidong Gumdo is a modern style of Korean swordsmanship, focusing on fluid and powerful sword techniques to engage multiple opponents as if in a “battlefield” setting. The techniques in this sword art are realized through forms, solo and partner drills, and cutting exercises (e.g., candle snuffing, paper cutting, bamboo cutting) and are combined with various meditation exercises.
